Spilliaert has long been appreciated in Belgium and his work is now beginning to receive the international interest he has long deserved. Olivier Fayt was the curator of the exhibition of Spilliaert at the Casino in Knokke in 2000, which presented 150 works to the general public. He also published a book, with essays in four languages, fully illustrated in colour to accompany this exhibition. And has since assisted museums in France, Switzerland and Japan bringing Spilliaert to the international public. Olivier Fayt Fine Art - OFFA - Gallery is situated in the heart of the Zoute amongst Belgium's most prestigious galleries. The gallery was opened in 2001 by Olivier Fayt, a dealer with ten years of experience in the international art market. The gallery specialises in the work of Leon Spilliaert and consistently exhibits a wide selection of high quality works by him as well as Belgian symbolists, such as Fernand Khnopff, Xavier Mellery and Constant Montald. Also to be found at Offa are works by James Ensor, Paul Delvaux and other international modern masters. At OFFA we build collections that concentrate on quality and investment value whilst expressing the individual taste and desires of our clients. Belgian Symbolists & Modern Masters Offa Gallery favours the work of Belgian and other European symbolists and is able to consistently exhibit and have access to many fine works by artists such as Khnopff, Mellery, Montald, Rops, Rassenfosse and Schlobach.
